The house was originally built between the 15th and 17th centuries, and the land stretched all the way to the village church. Since the very beginning, this estate has been passionate about winemaking, and they have only improved since then. Today, their wines are highly rated, with options for every palate. The property itself has become known as one of the best hidden gems in all of Switzerland. From its storybook exterior to its historic landscaping, you are about to have the best backdrop for your wedding!
Details of the Grounds
Château de Luins features 10.5 hectares that you will be able to use throughout your wedding day. One thing I do like to let my clients know is that they do not have bridal suites on-site. If you are looking for a nearby spot where you can get ready for your day, Luins offers several high-end hotels and villas that will serve as the perfect backdrop as you put on all of your finishing touches. This will also ensure you have the perfect spot to crash once your party is over.
The estate itself is quite contained with an iron gate that keeps it away from the outside world. The exterior remains true to the old world style with whitewashed stone walls and green shutters that add a touch of color. You will be able to see the vineyards throughout the day so you have a scenic backdrop for every part of your wedding day.
Most weddings take place outside on the lawn. The area is gorgeous all year long, with verdant trees in the spring and vibrant colors throughout the fall. For larger weddings, the Grape Harvest Room is your spot. This space is open and airy with sage-colored walls, high ceilings, and large windows that keep the views as the star of the show. This area is able to host up to 150 seated guests.
For those who would prefer a more intimate affair, the Carnotzet is your spot! This cellar features plaster walls, raftered ceilings, a small stage, and industrial finishes. It is warm and rustic, with decorations that remain true to the setting. The space features a garage door you can opt to leave open in case you’d like your party to flow outside. This room can host up to 25 guests.
