The back gardens offer a stunning view of the palace and feature beautiful green spaces that are perfect for your couple session. Because this area is tucked away behind the hotel, it feels much more private and intimate, away from most guests and visitors. It’s also an ideal setting for a romantic First Look.
Every staircase inside the Beau-Rivage Palace feels like a work of art, but I especially recommend using the one located at the back of the hotel (rather than the main staircase near reception). Its elegant architecture and softer atmosphere create a truly beautiful setting for portraits.
For sunset portraits, I would recommend slipping away from your reception for just 5–10 minutes and heading back to the front gardens, where your cocktail likely took place earlier in the day. At that time, the light becomes beautifully golden and soft, perfect for dreamy and timeless images.
And if you are feeling a little adventurous, you can even cross over to the lakeside directly in front of the palace. There, you’ll find breathtaking open views over Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains, offering an entirely different atmosphere for your portraits.
