While Beau Sejour Lucerne has all the luxuries of a modern hotel, this Belle Epoque space has been around for over a century. It all started on the sparsely populated street of Haldenstrasse in the middle of the 19th century. As the spirit of enterprise started to take over the sleepy town, the people had to find ways to keep up. In 1875, the Gesegnetmatt guest house opened. The building was expanded in 1905 and given the name The Hotel Beau Sejour in 1922.
Since the beginning, this center has been all about defying expectations. It survived the hotel crisis while all the neighboring hotels shuttered and continued to attract creatives from across the globe. The artistic spirit can still be felt today, from the colorful suites to the pristine gathering spaces. You can swing by for regular events like poetry slams or intimate concerts. They also give you the ability to rent out the entire hotel so you can throw a once-in-a-lifetime event all of your own.

That means you will have to rent out all 27 rooms and suites in order to host your wedding on the grounds. With this option, you will be able to celebrate alongside 70 guests. If you aren’t quite ready for that level of commitment, they invite you to rent out their sister space, Hotel Schlussel, where you can find rooms with the capacity for up to 18 guests. For your dinner, you will be able to use either the Sun Deck and Terrace or the Ballroom. Because the entire hotel will be yours for the night, you will have the freedom to let loose! They let you celebrate late into the night before heading up to your room to crash.
